Question by akaThany: Want to pay off a vehicle loan faster to steer clear of interest?
Hi!
I just lately bought a automobile and had to finance 12,000$ of it with 2900 of that being interest. Of course i want to develop my credit up so i don’t want to pay it off too rapidly- but what would be the best payments to get the minimum quantity of interest.. or any ideas on how to figure this out would be great.

Like you said, don’t pay off the loan too quickly or you’ll get no benefit to your credit rating. A very good compromise would be to double up on payments, with the additional funds all going to principle. But get in touch with your loan firm before you start off and make positive they enable it. Some do, some do not.

neversane question .? I want to get a loan for a car in a year or two, I need advice on how to score better I recently paid my credit cards, but had many late payments posted on my credit file. I do not know if I cancel my cards (I have about 5) or can not when I tell them the history of college I crédit.Aussi be completed in the fall and then know how it will look to get a car loan even with my bad credit history. I was told I needed to replace at minimum – two CV axles, and two struts.

I was suggested the Firestone Lifetime warranty for $160 to save on gas,tires, and alignment over the next three years. I am also getting break pads and the struts free, but was told I needed to pay for the ball joints and tie rod ends and cv axle.
He said the minimum can be done for $200.00,the latter for 550.00 give or take a 100.00, but labor would run me $500.00 for the minimum and the maximum would run me $1200.00 to $1500.00. Anyone have any review sites to help me learn about this purchase and see if I am making a good trade? Also my parents already put $500.00 into buying the car.
I have a 1987 Buick Lesabre Custom.I replaced the fuel pump,fuel filter,and fuel relay.After I finish installing all the parts I turned the ignition switch and my car started right up.I did this job Sunday October 22,2006.Since then my car has not been able to start up and the battery keeps running down.Can some one tell me why I am not able to start my car or why the battery keeps running down,The car has a full tank of gas?Never did lose any gas from changing out the fuel filter or fuel pump.I have done what the answers that the guys gave me on this site and My father installed all the parts for me on my car he retired as a ASE Master Mechanic 48yrs as a mechanice and in the business.I went back and check the wiring for the fuel pump and it installed correctly and I changed out the fuel relays cause they are 20 yrs old.I have done everything that the guys here suggested that I do and the car still want start.Anymore suggestion?
