Question by pdd70: my auto was repossed right now. I want to get it back but the automobile lot say they have to review my file and get back?
I thought I could make my payment and the repo fee and get the car back. Can they make me the balance on the car if it’s a tote the note? I only owe $ 1200.00 to have it paid off. We had a verbal agreement to pay an $ 11 late fee via mail and the payment that was due this Friday four/6. I mailed the late fee and they picked my car up this morning. They said they didn’t obtain the late fee in a timely manner and would have to review my file and let me know what I can do sometime tomorrow?

Like you said, don’t pay off the loan too quickly or you’ll get no benefit to your credit rating. A very good compromise would be to double up on payments, with the additional funds all going to principle. But get in touch with your loan firm before you start off and make positive they enable it. Some do, some do not.
