Yes, you can.
But be forewarned that it he misses payments, your credit will be damaged. And if he causes an accident or commits a crime, you will be held responsible.
So only do it if he is trustworthy.

Money back on a student loan is not a great thought. I doubt you’ll be able to find 1, unless it’s a private lender with high interest rates and no forbearance or deferment policies.
