Question by Brittany: What is a good household auto? Very good gas mileage and superior safety ratings a must!?
My husband has a 2007 Ford Concentrate…and I’m fine with that. I was just wondering if there was something much better out there? I’m going to be buying my own car soon and we are in the midst of attempting to get pregnant. I’ve heard the Volkswagens are excellent…is this correct? Thanks!

The 08 Ford Taurus has gotten a five star rating for safety and is among the best out there. It is essentially a Volvo. Take a look and see what you feel about it. Very good luck.

Question by Emily M: Auto with good safety ratings and excellent gas mileage?
I just turned 15 and I am seeking for a car. Safety is important (at least 4 stars for front and back) since as soon as I turn 16 I will have to carry buddies, my small brother, and possibly other youngsters if I’m babysitting. I want something with good gas mileage and thats good for the environment too. Looking excellent is type of important, but its not a necessity. Does anybody have any suggestions of cars that fit this description?

You could get the automobile I got. I lately got a 2007 nissan sentra. 30 mpg city, and 39 mpg highway. Also, they start at about 18,000. I have observed them for lower then that although. Really great safety ratings as properly.

I am looking for a dependable used car with decent mileage and versatile cargo space on a college student budget. I am not to worried about style or speed, my biggest concerns are that I am 6’5″ and would like to fit behind the wheel, and am planning to drive property about 1800 miles with a dorm room full of stuff. What sort of cars need to I be searching for?

I will be going to college soon and I am looking for a car that is economic and does not use a lot of gas (gas prices are expensive!!!). I want to know when buying a car what characteristics to look for in order to see if a car uses to much gas. I know that big trucks need a lot of gas often. But in a regular small car, what info should I need to know? A car that I looked at said that gas mileage was 34 mpg city/40 mpg hwy. What does this mean? Also, do I need to check the engine? For example, 1.5L I4, 16 valve, 106@6000 hp. What do I need to look for in order to save gas. What are the best cars right now that do not use much gas, of good quality, and economic?
