You can easily credit cards – department stores are best to start small purchases and pay in full each month. After about six months of good payment history, you have a fair chance to an unsecured line of credit or a loan to obtain.
And what do you suggest is a good VALUE when buying one of these cars?
What’s the maximum mileage that a used car can have and still run well in your opinion?
And what questions should I ask the owner? What should I look for?

We’re doing tons of research before we buy this used car, and what keeps popping up is have a mechanic inspect the car before you buy it, and run a background car check. We just ran the background on the car, and it has perfect history.
But how do you get the car off the lot and have an independent mechanic check the car before you even buy it? How do you ask a car salesman if you can do that?
